QBE Announces The Launch Of The 2008/09 Fantasy Football Season

QBE today announced the launch of the 2008/09 Fantasy Football season for brokers in the Insurance Industry.

The game is free to play and easy to enter. The competition is open to all brokers in the Insurance industry and enables them to use their skill and judgement in picking a team from a set budget of £55m from the list of premiership players. Throughout the season there are transfer windows that allow the players to change their team. For those who may have limited knowledge of the players to pick there is a lucky dip option.

The prize for Manager of the Season is £15,000 and an engraved trophy, with runner up prizes of £5,000 and £1,000 for second and third place. In addition there are eight Manager of the Month awards and a Broker Championship for broker firms to play off against each other. The competition, run in conjunction with Insurance Times and Fantasy Football, is a major talking point throughout the season with keen interest amongst all players.
