A National Force
Outside London, we have seven
strategically located National
offices throughout the UK.
Local understanding
These offices act as a distribution point for all
targeted business, with their main business
focus centred on:
- Casualty
- Motor
- Property
- Trade Credit
Each office, under the local leadership of
a Commercial Manager, has underwriters
who are empowered in all of the key sector
areas – with a support team to match.
Every
manager has worked in their respective
areas for many years, and has an in-depth
understanding of their own locality. However,
the fact that we used to distribute on a
monoline system means everyone may not
be familiar with our new approach.
The
Commercial Managers and their teams
intend to put that right.
A key part of their role is getting to know
our brokers better – and understanding

Our National approach
At QBE we do things differently. We
encourage our National underwriting teams
to use their experience and expertise, which
means they are always looking to find a
creative solution for any business risk. They
can make use of our outstanding existing
products, or they can create new ones.
