Ken Limber
Work Time
Ken’s career in the aviation insurance industry has spanned almost 30 years, during which time he has held many different roles and responsibilities including underwriting of all classes of aviation insurance and reinsurance risks.
Ken has also had management responsibility for General Aviation underwriting, Claims and Outward Reinsurance.
He started his career in 1977 with Excess Insurance Company, moving to Westminster Aviation in 1985 as Excess of Loss Treaty underwriter. At that time, one of the two major shareholders of Westminster was AGF and in the late 1990s Allianz took a majority shareholding in AGF and became the sole owner of Westminster shortly thereafter.
In 2002 Allianz formed a new company, Allianz Marine & Aviation, where Ken remained working until joining QBE.
Down Time
Ken is married with two daughters and lives in Chelmsford, Essex. He is keen on football and is a season ticket holder at West Ham. He also enjoys playing golf, is an avid reader and is happy pottering in the garden.
