The QBE Foundation operates with the following objectives:
The Foundation’s requirements are that all beneficiaries are registered as a charity in their local jurisdiction and exclude funding to political, local authority, union-affiliated and religious teaching organisations; schools and associated parent teacher organisations; and organisations which incur administration fees exceeding 15% of donations received. Grant requests should be for a defined project and should exclude applications to support the cost of individual members of staff.
Charitable grants
The QBE Foundation supports charitable organisations through the provision of direct discretionary grants. Grants are provided to charities that meet The QBE Foundation’s objectives (listed above) and align with its philosophy of supporting vocational opportunities.
To be considered for a grant, charitable organisations must complete an application for a charitable donation by a registered charity. This application form requests details about the charitable organisation, their funding sources, and the project for which they are seeking a grant.

Applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis and applicants should expect a decision within six weeks of the application being received.
