QBE Aviation Syndicate 5555

Syndicate 5555 is a sub-syndicate of QBE Syndicate 2999. The Syndicate is led by Colin O’Farrell, Chief Underwriting Officer of QBE’s Marine, Energy and Aviation division, writing: airlines; general aviation; and products & airports business in the Lloyd’s market. Colin O’Farrell will continue to lead the Syndicate until the commencement in 2012 of Paul Letherbarrow as head of QBE’s Aviation Division.

Syndicate 5555 is managed by QBE Underwriting Limited, one of the largest managing agents at Lloyd’s. QBE Underwriting Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the QBE Insurance Group, who provide 100% of Syndicate 2999’s capacity.
